How can I donate to the SVSEF?
The SVSEF accepts donations throughout the year. You may donate via check or credit card by filling out this donation form
or by clicking on the button below to make a secure on-line donation.
If you prefer to donate to the SVSEF in another way (stocks, matching
gifts, restricted giving, event sponsorship, van advertising, etc.),
please contact the Development Office at 208-726-4129.
What are the SVSEF fundraising goals?
For the 2009-2010 season our goal is to raise at least $465,000. Our primary fundraising vehicles are: the Annual Fund
, the Fall Wild Game Dinner & Auction
, and the Janss Pro-Am Classic
At this time we are not drawing from our Endowment which we are trying
to grow $5 million. Our scholarship money is raised through our Champions of the Foundation
drives at the Game Dinner and Janss Pro-Am. Scholarships (nearly
$200,000 per season) are awarded directly to the athletes to support
tuition and travel costs. There is no other program of our kind in the
nation, which offers this amount of support. We could not do it without
our generous donors.
How does the SVSEF use my donation?
General donations, donations to the Annual Fund and proceeds from the
Fall Game Dinner and Janss Pro-Am fund SVSEF general operations. These
include, but are not limited to: program equipment and support, facility
expenses, vehicle maintenance, insurance (includes: liability, property
and Worker's Compensation insurance), utilities and administrative
costs. Champions of the Foundation donations fund tuition and travel
costs for the athletes as well as general operations.
Can I donate to a specific program or team? Yes.
If you would like your donation to impact one of
our specific teams: Alpine, Cross Country, Freestyle or Snowboard, you
can make that designation. This donation will be used to fulfill the
needs of that program as determined by the Program Director. Please
designate your preference when filling out the forms or contact the
