Coaching Staff - Comp and Prep

  Andy Ware, Freestyle Program Director
Andy has been skiing for 25 years and coaching with SVSEF for the past 11 years. He is a USSA level 2 aerials and moguls coach and has helped coach 4 Jr. National champions,  2 Mogul champions and 2 Halfpipe champs. His hometown is Boise, ID and he went to the University of Idaho. He is married to Annelies Ware and they have a 3 year old daughter Tatum. In the off season, Andy is General Manager of Alpine Tree Service. He likes to take gnarly mountain bike rides, water ski, hike and camp. You might not know that Andy also enjoys climbing 60 foot trees with his chain saw.

Joey Cordeau, Comp Team Head Mogul Coach
Four time World Mogul Skiing Champion, Joey has been coaching for 20 years and with SVSEF 2 years. A native of Biddeford, ME,  he also works as a painting contractor. Joey enjoys water skiing, talking really, really fast and beating everybody down Upper River Run. Unless you've been on ski trips with Joey, you might not know that he is also an extreme morning person.

Jeff Page, Prep Team Head Coach

Fifty plus years old and still throwing back flips, Jeff has been a ski coach forever and coaching for SVSEF for 11 years. His other jobs, hobbies and sports are too numerous to mention but we do know he grew up by a lake and can do just about anything you can think of behind a ski boat. Obviously he is into eccentric ski clothing but did you know that he also dyes his hair?

Christine Cordeau, Prep Team Assistant Coach

Born and raised in Sun Valley, Christine has skied in Nationals, Nor Ams and Selections events. She has also competed in Skier-Cross World Cups. She works for the Ketchum Flower Company and likes to water ski, hike and cook. This is her second year coaching for SVSEF.

Ben Verge, Pipe and Park Head Coach
Lane Parrish super combined champ for 2009 and Ketchum native, Ben has been coaching with SVSEF for 4 years. He also works as a carpenter and likes to skateboard.  You might not have noticed, but Ben regularly switches between skis and snowboard.

Kurtis Fieguth, Assistant Coach - Moguls, Park and Pipe
Kurtis has been competing in mogul events for 15 years; 12 with SVSEF and the last 3 in Park City.  He is a Hailey local and also works in construction.
