Scholarship Info

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM - Thanks to our generous donors, Tuition Scholarships are available for SVSEF athletes for all teams.  Travel Scholarships are available for upper level teams only (Comp, Alpine FIS & J1-3 teams).

Scholarship Application Deadlines:  
            Returning Athletes - August 15, 2010 
            New Athletes - October 15, 2010
 
Scholarship Applications must be complete with all forms attached in order to be considered.  No Exceptions! 
Please read the letter from the Scholarship Committee that is attached to the Scholarship Applications.

- Returning Athlete Tuition Only Scholarship Application - Due August 15, 2010  

- Returning Athlete Tuition and Travel Scholarship* Application - Due August 15, 2010  
  *SVSEF will have the Program Director complete Estimated Travel Sheets for applicants requesting Travel Scholarships. Travel Scholarships are available for: Alpine FIS, J1-3 IMD Teams; Cross Country Comp Team, Freestyle Comp Team and Snowboard Comp Team.

- New Athlete Tuition Scholarship Application - Due October 15, 2010

- Required IRS forms: Entire 2009 Federal 1040 and all supplementary schedules & IRS Form 4506 (Request for Copy of Tax Return - Do not include payment).  We will contact you for payment if the Scholarship Committee feels the need to verify your tax return with the IRS. 
 
**WE MUST HAVE YOUR 2009 FEDERAL Tax Return in order to process your application.  NO EXCEPTIONS!
For Returning athletes:  If the application is not complete by Aug 15th, your appliation will not be processed with the 1st round of scholarship applications.  You may resubmit for the October 15 deadline if application is complete.
